Cloud
Cloud
Cloud is more than a storage solution; it’s an installation that brings a little fresh air to the places that need it the most. Designed by artist Bertrand Jayr, this concrete shelf celebrates toilet paper’s unique shape by lifting your spare rolls up off the ground and out from under the sink, cradling your T.P. […]
Concrete is a highly durable material and as shelving is always needed, concrete is a good choice. Our concrete shelving and storage units will last a long time.
But beyond durability, our customers love our concrete shelves and storage units for their style. Minimalists love the simple, mineral lines of our concrete shelves from the Sliced collection. The more poetic souls store their toilet paper on our cloud-shaped concrete shelves from the Cloud collection. Those with a more modernist or even Scandinavian style will be happy with Dice, the collection of modular concrete cubes, which can be used to create bespoke storage units/bookshelves.
This collection of concrete shelves by designer Bertrand Jayr needs no introduction. You’ve probably already seen them on Instagram or Pinterest. This collection is based on the principle that, with the right support, objects that we usually hide become a poetic decorative element that we assume.
The Cloud collection comes in two sizes of concrete toilet paper shelves. The 745 model is the larger one. The 545, is more suitable for small spaces. And finally, the matching toilet paper dispenser, is an indispensable companion to the first two.
All these shelves have an invisible fastening system without which the effect will not be as striking.
When we developed our Sliced concrete shelves, the idea was to make the most of the natural minerality of concrete, which we consider to be the most minimalist material.
The design had to be as minimalist as possible. No frills, no gigantism, no disruptive elements. The concrete shelves in this collection are therefore without bas relief, with a deliberately reduced depth and with an invisible mounting system. The effect is striking, the concrete block floats on the wall as if by magic.
This extreme minimalism makes these shelves very discreet but nevertheless have a strong presence. They soberly highlight the decorative elements that are placed on them: vases, candles, sculptures, frames…
They are also very good companions in a kitchen to make a spice rack or in a bathroom to put some accessories at disposal.
The collection is available in 4 sizes with a scale ratio that makes it easy to combine them: 30 cm – 60 cm – 90 cm or 120 cm.
We couldn’t close the subject of concrete shelves without mentioning our Dice cube system.
With these concrete cubes, which can be fitted with or without wooden boards, you can create a shelf unit to your own specifications. To make a room divider (and yes, the furniture is as beautiful on the front as on the back) or to make a bookcase of books, vinyl records, decorative objects or a bit of all three, Dice adapts to your needs.
More than a piece of furniture, it is a sideboard, a bookcase or a cabinet. And as it can be assembled and disassembled without tools, you can configure it as you wish to change its function.
